Well so I guess I am finally truly on vacation! Thank you very much for the all the good-luck wishing on my final project in the last post - everything went pretty smooth! Now all that's left is my evaluation next week so I can continue the project next semester.

haha, it's depressing to think I might finish college this year... I still don't have a job yet and thinking about how's my life going to be after college ends makes me even more depressed. Current family problems aren't helping much either.

aaargh I just want to get a job soon so I can have my own money and spend less time at home...

anyway, I'll try making good use of this vacation to go back to taking driving lessons. I'm stupid and have fear of driving so I've barely done it ever since I got my driving license. I'd rather have my mom or brother teach me so we'd waste less money on driving classes, but since they don't have the time to...

what else... ahh, the other day I threw away a bunch of old drawings. I actually like keeping old stuff... I have works from since when I was 5 or so, haha. It's fun looking at it. Looking at my old works sometimes help me in brightening my mood - they help me in seeing my improvement and they're so hilariously bad it makes me laugh. I threw away mostly stuff that was from 6 years ago to nowadays because really, I store way too many old and useless things...

well that's about it for my boring life. I seem to have been artblocked lately. :|

I'm doing fine. Been working from morning 'till night on my final project for the past month so thanks to that I'm getting back to sleeping decently. This week I'm finally handing in the first half of my final project so I'll finally have some free time again for a while.

some other things:

- this week's FMA episode - I waited years to see these chapters from the manga animated. Yay Winry, you got to be your awesome self this time. <333

- I tried fixing my mouse since the scrolling button was kinda malfunctioning and doing that trick of rolling it upside-down on a blank paper to clean it wasn't working anymore. The result was.... that I completely ruined my scroll button LOLOLOLOLOL.

hgjhfjhkdf that's about it that I can remember now. and some other stuff that are too annoying to vent about. dammit isn't my life exciting.

also, I watched Gurren-hen! I don't have much to review for obvious reasons, but it made me love Nia and Yoko (although to a lesser extent) even more. <333333 and there was also the last battle scene by... You Yoshinari I think? MY BRAIN ALMOST EXPLODED. I'm glad I enjoyed it more than I expected. it helped putting me a bit more at ease in the wait for the second movie.

no I have not watched Gurren-hen yet. I'm quite thankful though that my download probably won't finish until this weekend since I have to study ffffff. SOMEONE HOLD ME I DON'T WANT TO FAIL THIS SEMESTER AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

i'll also have to avoid Lagann-hen spoilers like whoa. I don't care much about Gurren-hen on that aspect (although I am avoiding watching clips of the new scenes in streaming sites because the new action scenes look amazing and I want to watch them in decent quality ughh), but I really really really don't want to be spoiled for Lagann-hen... I don't even want to expect anything specific from it so that I won't be dissappointed if it doesn't happen, I just want it to be amazing and to make me cry like a little girl all over again.

avoiding spoilers for it until I can get to watch it will be probably impossible though... even if I avoid text, a lot of fanart is going to pop-up at pixiv/jtegaki Q_____Q

omg Lagann-hen is going to have a sequence animated by Kenichi Yoshida?

I'm not very familiar with his animation other than his work in Eureka Seven and a sequence in Diebuster, but I love his art like whoa. I've always wanted to see a Gurren Lagann drawing done by him, but didn't have any hope for that ever happening since he wasn't even involved in the tv series, so this was a pleasant surprise! since his 'illustration' for Gainax' entrance page today wasn't anything special (although his rendition of Imaishi cosplaying Simon is really cute), I hope his sequence has a main character in it.

poor guy... can't make out most of the dialogue, but apparently he was very behind on the other animators on reaching the deadlines (probably because he was/is also busy with the Eureka Seven upcoming movie as well).

I wish I could be a bit more excited for both movies but we won't get to watch neither of them anytime this year, probably.

ffffffff god i want to throw up at the faces I draw sometimes. i'm fucking scared of reaching CLAMP levels of inexpressiveness someday or being unable to draw anything but angsty expressions. if I'm not there already. AJKAJKDSNLKDF;NDLASFJ

O Teatro Mágico - 22-11
O Teatro Mágico is a brazilian music group that works with a bunch of music styles, a lot of them being inspired by native traditional ballads mixed with pop and rock elements... which is not the case of this song, but, uh, just so if it interests you. Their work with music is inspired on saraus, with the group being formed not only by musicians, but there's also clowns, actors and jugglers. anyway, this one is an instrumental piece, a very sweet and pretty song with nice guitars and viola.
I'd love to translate some of their lyrics which are just great, but there's no way I could do them justice, especially because there's a lot of play on words.

I drew this sketch of Yoko yesterday during class and then when I get home I find that Gainax put online that 30-sec preview for that Yoko PV they're releasing..... I didn't care much about it at first but when I watched it yesterday I was all like HHHHHHNNNNNNGHHHHHHHHHH

mannnn... these past couple of days I tried going to sleep at 11 pm to get up at 4am to study, which was kinda weird but I guess it really does feel better than staying up until 3am or so and then sleep for 3-4 hours before going to college, which is what I usually do. I am so glad that my advisor (or mentor? dunno the right term in english for the teacher that will be guiding you with your final project..) seems to be enjoying my research (I am enjoying it as well, of course), so that makes my weariness worth it ;D; today a teacher of mine contested my work and it made me kinda depressed. it's pathetic to need the approval of others like that all the time but I can't help it... disapproval makes me sink deeper than anything. stop being retarded lola.


tomorrow I'm going with my family to my aunt's house and we'll stay there until sunday so happy easter everyone! eat lots of chocolate for me because I will do my best to avoid it jkfhsjhdaksdf.
